Really enjoyed my time in Colonia Carlos Pellegrini and Hostel Don Justino was part of it.
Hugo (the owner) and his wife make you to feel like at home. Rodrigo is a plus for the navigation on the Laguna and infos about everything.

A Family run hostel. Staff were very friendly. Owner's nephew, Rodrigo, speaks English. Rooms are basic. Food was okay, someone might needs a bigger portion. We stayed for 3 nights ( a twin room): two nights full board, two boat trips, one horse riding tour and one guided walking = AR$470 per person + one night B&B = AR$ 60 per person.
We went there from Puerto Iguazu and asked for transport from Virasoro to Carlos Pellegrini AR$450 (max 4 people).
Boat tour by Rodrigo was very good. He had binoculars and explained details by pictures. The owner, Mr Hugo, has internet connection and pay phone. He is now building a new hostel (5rooms).

Well located between centre and lagoon. Room a little dark but big and v clean.. Welcoming staff. Plain but good food, breakfast included but lacked variety, dinner and drinks extra. 2 small shops nearby. Owner arranged onward travel to Posadas by 4x4 at half price as collecting another couple there - very fair.
