Description - Hostel

Our CHILL OUT HOSTEL is perfectly located in the heart of the charming and safest neighbourhood of Graça. A five minute stroll from the Hostel da Graça and you will find yourself on the beautiful Porto da Barra beach with its own Naval fort or the Farol da Barra beach beneath its ancient Light House (First Light House in South America) where you can play in the warm Atlantic surf. Access to the old Historical City of Pelourinho is 10 min by taxi or 15 min bus ride away
Within under five minutes walk you can find everything a traveller may need: bakeries, banks, pharmacies, snack bars, coexisting harmoniously beside museums and historical churches.
This is a perfect place for you that want to immerse yourself into the original life style of the residents of Salvador.
Well-served by public transport, there is a taxi and bus stop within five minutes walk, besides the bicycles available for hire from the hostel. The hostel offers a peaceful, safe and clean setting.

Throughout the three-story house we are equipped a large fully fitted + equipped guest kitchen with microwave, cooker, fridge and storage space. An additional deposit may be requested prior to arrival. If so, you will be contacted directly after you confirm your booking.

Booking and cancellation policy

Unless otherwise specified, booking payments are non-refundable.

The hostel will give the interested customer a time limit for effecting the deposit / advance payment (50%) to confirm the booking (except for period of special packages - otherwise confirmation).
Cancellation up to 15 days notice - full refund of the total amount deposited. Cancellation 14-8 days prior to departure - 50% refund of the total amount deposited. Cancellation less than 8 days in advance - no refund.
Special Packages (New Year, Carnival): Up to 30 days in advance, full refund . After this deadline no refund.
In case of No Show, which is the non-attendance in the hostel the guest room will be reserved the for 24 hours from the time of entry.
After this time the reservation is canceled and no refund of the deposit. Reservations and Rates start at 14:00 and finish on next day at noon, regardless of the time of check-in.

City bus – Barra R2 or Pça da Sé (air conditioned)

There is a bus terminal at the airport behind the parking lot. There you can take a city bus between 8 a. m. and 10 p. m., "Barra R2" or "Pça de Sé" (air conditioned).
Get off at “Largo de Vitória” near the McDonald's, then cross the street, walk on Rua da Graça until you cross Rua Teixeira Leal. Look for number 51.
